आज हम SSC CGL के सबसे परेशान करने वाले टॉपिक Logical Reasoning/General Intelligence के लिए क्या और कैसे study-plan बनाएँ, उसके बारे में चर्चा करेंगे. चर्चा शुरू करूँ, उससे पहले मैं चाहता हूँ कि आप सबसे पहले last years’ question pattern को एक बार ध्यान से देख लें कि किस topic से कितने questions अभी तक आये हैं. जब हम किसी टॉपिक को उठाते हैं तो उसके last years’questions और question pattern को जान लेने में ही समझदारी है क्योंकि इससे हमें अगली परीक्षा में आने वाले questions का कुछ न कुछ idea मिल जाता है….

Questions from Series—–> ब्रैकेट में कौन से वर्ष कितने सवाल आये लिखा गया है.

(2013= 30 2014= 27 2015= 29)

1. Analogy से सम्बंधित प्रश्न (both word based and numerical)
2. Odd pair से सम्बंधित प्रश्न (both word based and numerical)
3. English Dictionary based word arrangements, missing letters से सम्बंधित प्रश्न.
4. Box containing some number, you’ve to find missing number.
5. रैंकिंग, missing characters etc.

 

Questions from Coding

(2013= 9 2014= 11 2015= 10)

1. Typical coding decoding questions like ORANGE written as GHYTIA then LEMON is written as..)
2. Symbols (rectangle is greater than, square is less than..)
3. Maths operations (p=x, q=+, then value of 90p89q3 is..)

 

Questions from Arrangement 

(2013= 3 2014= 5 2015= 5)

1. Sitting arrangement (line, table and circular) से सम्बंधित प्रश्न
2. Blood relations (mummy papa questions, saas bahu etc.)
3. Building, occupations of persons. एक वकील है जो सबसे नीचे रहता है, उसके ऊपर डॉक्टर 
4. Schedules (lecture on Monday..etc.)
5. Direction based (Pappu moves 4 kms south…how far he is from home)

 

Questions from Logic 

(2013= 3 2014= 4 2015= 3)

1. Syllogism (2 statements and 3 statements)
2. Conventional Venn Diagrams (Venn diagrams (in a class 40 students like coffee and 50 like both tea and coffee..)
3. Assumption, interference, conclusion etc.

 

Misc. Questions 

(2013= 1 2014= 1 2015= 3)

1. Clock, calendar
2. Permutation Combination (rare)
3. Age related problems (dad is X years older than..)
4. Geometry (lolz only in 2012, one question in reasoning section was from Geometry! :p)

 

Image based (non-verbal) Questions 

(2013= 4 2014= 4 2015= 4)

1. Cubes-dices: predicting color, numbers in other faces
2. Sequence of figures
3. Paper-cutting, folding, punching
4. Mirrors and water reflection
5. Configuration, fitting pieces, odd pieces etc.

 

 

 

नोट करने लायक कुछ बातें:—

1. लॉजिकल रीजनिंग फार्मूला-बेस्ड नहीं होता और ना ही इसकी हम कोई ऐसी थ्योरी निकाल सकते हैं जिससे हमें हमारे हाथ कोई जादू की छड़ी होने का अनुभव हो. हाँ— Syllogism, Clock-Calendars, Permutation combination इत्यादि में फार्मूला जरुर होता है मगर फार्मूला याद करने से अच्छा है कि आप घर बैठ कर ज्यादा से ज्यादा practice करें.

2. एक दिक्कत यह आती है कि आपसे रीजनिंग/जनरल इंटेलिजेंस का सामना केवल tier-1 exam में होता है (50Q). जब आप tier-2 में जाते हो तो Reasoning/General Intelligence नाम का कोई कीड़ा नहीं होता. आपका सामना सिर्फ Maths और English से होता है.

3. इसीलिए आपको यह निर्णय लेना होगा कि आपको लॉजिकल रीजनिंग में कितना समय देना होगा. क्या आप इस सेक्शन के लिए जरुरत से ज्यादा मेहनत तो नहीं कर रहे? आपका Priority order ऊपर के ग्राफ के according कुछ इस तरह रहना चाहिए: Series>Coding>Non-verbal

 

Mission 1 #Series

1. जैसा कि आप ऊपर दिए गए ग्राफ और चार्ट में देख सकते हैं Series (analogy, odd pairs, dictionary etc) से पूछे गए सवाल सबसे अधिक हैं. आधे से अधिक सवाल Series ही कवर करती है. इसीलिए इसे हमें first priority में रखना होगा.

2. क्या आपको पता है कि SSC CGL के पेपर में शुरुआत के 8 से 9 सवाल analogy से होते हैं, अगले 7 से 8 सवाल “Find odd word/number” से….

3. इसीलिए मेरी सलाह यही रहेगी कि reasoning book में दिए “Series” के सारे सवाल आप सबसे पहले solve करें.Priority-wise इन्हें पढ़ें:–

1. Analogy (words and numbers)
2. Odd pair (same)
3. Classification
4. Dictionary based series
5. Inserting missing characters
6. Logical sequence of words

Word analogy, number analogy से सरल होती है. Number analogy कठिन होती है इसीलिए यदि परीक्षा में number analogy के सवाल में आप यदि अटक जाएँ, तो तुरंत उसे छोड़कर दूसरे question में shift हो जाइये.

उदाहरण के लिए इस प्रश्न को लीजिये: find Missing number in the box?

Answers:

a) 6 b) 18 c) 26 d) 36

• यदि आप इस सवाल को बहुत जल्दी हल कर देते हैं तो = बहुत अच्छा है
• मगर कभी-कभी जो इस प्रश्न में logic लगायी गयी है, वो जल्दी समझ नहीं आयेगी …इसीलिए इस प्रश्न पर 5 मिनट से अधिक बरबाद  करने का कोई सवाल ही नहीं उठता. इसको छोडिये और आगे बढ़िये.

 

Mission 2 #Arrangement-Direction tests

1. इसके अंतर्गत blood-relation, arrangements (circular, line, building etc.) से सवाल होंगे.

2. नए खिलाड़ी के लिए ये सवाल time-taking साबित होंगे. मगर यदि आपने काफी practice की है तो ये बहुत आसानी से solve किये जा सकते हैं.

3. इस तरह के सवाल में सबसे अच्छी बात यह है कि = आप अपना answer verify कर सकते हैं (सवाल में दिए हुए “conditions” को apply कर के)

4. सबसे आसान circular arrangement होता है. आप यदि इसको नहीं बना सकते हैं तो साफ़-साफ़ पता चलता है कि आप सिर्फ time-pass के लिए SSC की तैयारी कर रहे हैं. पुस्तक में दिए circular arrangement से related सभी questions सोल्व करें. जब एक बार आप सर्कुलर अरेंजमेंट पर महारत हासिल कर लेते हैं तो linear and rectangular (dining table) को solve करना शुरू करें.

5. अगली बारी आती है Direction based questions की. पप्पू 10 km बाँए गया, फिर दाँये, ऊपर फिर नीचे. ये सब सवाल “रसगुल्ले” सवाल हैं. इन्हें जल्द से जल्द सोल्व करने की practice करते रहना चाहिए…no excuse.

6. फिर building में सबसे ऊपर वकील रहता है, उसके नीचे डॉक्टर etc…. ये सब का अभ्यास आप करते रहिए. Age और height वाला सवाल सबसे आसान होता है.

7. Blood-relation के भी सवाल आसान होते हैं. ये सब “रसगुल्ले” questions होते हैं that you cannot afford to miss.

 

Mission 3 #Non Verbal

Non Verbal बोले तो– image based questions. ये सब सवाल का कोई ट्रिक नहीं है जिसे आपको बताया जा सके. आप खुद self-practice से tricks बनाओगे और उसे exam में apply करोगे. हाँ, मगर इसे बनाते वक़्त घड़ी पर नज़र दौडाते रहियेगा क्योंकि इस सेक्शन तक आते -आते तक आपके पास ज्यादा time नहीं बचेगा.

 

Mission 4 #Coding-Decoding 

इसके अंतर्गत आते हैं—-

1. Typical Question of coding-decoding like HOPE is written as LOPA and POLE is written as AOSQ bla bla…..

2. Symbol related (circle bigger than/less than/…etc)

3. Maths operations (L=x, M=+, then value of 16L(12M13) is..)

4. Other misc. questions.

सभी प्रैक्टिस से बनेंगे. इस तरह के सवाल नॉन-मैथमेटिकल ब्रेन भी बना सकते हैं. इसीलिए यह रोना छोड़ दीजिए कि मेरा maths ख़राब है, मैं बोर्ड में मैथ्स में कम लाया हूँ  etc….

 

Mission 5 #अन्य चीजें जो ध्यान देने लायक हैं

1. सबसे पहले Syllogism (All biscuits are coffee, All coffee are pen)…का अभ्यास अच्छी तरह से कर लें.  हर साल SSC में कम से कम दो सवाल Syllogism से आते ही आते हैं. इसीलिए इसको छोड़ना नहीं है.

2. Conventional Venn Diagram questions. (10 play cricket, 20 play football….) 1 सवाल जरुर आता है.

3. ऊपर के ये दो topics करने के बाद, बचे-खुचे topics को time दीजिए like Clock वाला, या Calendar etc.

 

भाई साब मेक्को रीजनिंग का बूक माँगता- Recommended Books

1. चूँकि रीजनिंग/जनरल इंटेलिजेंस theory-based नहीं है इसीलिए एकमात्र approach ये है कि घर पर बैठ कर प्रैक्टिस कीजिए.

2. SSC परीक्षा के साथ-साथ IBPS, LIC, CDS, CAPF और इसी तरह की अन्य परीक्षाओं को भी देते रहिए. आजकल के जमाने में सिर्फ एक परीक्षा की तैयारी करना ठीक उसी तरह है जैसे आम के बगीचे में बैठकर अंगूर खाने की जिद करना.

3. इन दोनों पुस्तकों में से किसी एक को आप खरीद सकते हैं.
